Canadian ground water researchers to work with new Cecil Day Family Center for International Groundwater Innovation

Macon, Georgia – Mercer University in Georgia announced it will establish the Cecil Day Family Center for International Groundwater Innovation. The new centre will accelerate efforts in the Mercer On Mission program and the School of Engineering to provide access to clean water to the world’s most water-poor communities. It also will allow lead researcher Michael MacCarthy and his students to move into a new phase of their collaborative work with John Cherry and Beth Parker of the G360 Institute for Groundwater Research at the University of Guelph in Canada, a world-leading group in fractured-rock and applied ground water research.
