Merritt’s drinking water to be tested following debris cleanup, flushing of system

Merritt, B.C. – Crews continue to work at removing debris from the city’s sewage pipes and flushing and inspecting its drinking water supply following recent flooding. Testing of the drinking water supply will be conducted once that is done, but a timeline has yet to be given, the mayor says.
