More time needed for groundwater use licensing: B.C.’s Liberal and Green leaders

Victoria, B.C. – British Columbia’s Liberal and Green party leaders are leaning on the NDP government to extend the March 1 deadline for applying for a commercial groundwater use licence. The leaders say the NDP has improperly reached out to those affected, suggesting thousands of farmers, ranchers and small business owners are at risk of losing groundwater use.
