New hospital project looking into geothermal heating as part of hybrid energy system

Belleville, Ont. – Geothermal heating is being considered as part of a hybrid energy system by Quinte Health Care for the county’s new hospital project. Geosource Energy is looking at the site to see if geothermal heating is suitable. It has already been determined there is insufficient groundwater for an open loop system.
