Portable sampler includes peristaltic pump for high accuracy

Hoskin Scientific Ltd. has introduced a line of fully automated portable samplers for environmental, wastewater, surface water and industrial treatment markets.

The YSI ProSample automated samplers are available in single composite or multi-bottle options and include a proprietary peristaltic pump for highly accurate sampling based on time, flow or weather event, Hoskin Scientific said in a press release.

Feature include a robust double-walled, insulated housing for temperature control, easy tube replacement for minimal downtime and user-friendly, simple programming and calibration from sampler or personal computer, and long battery life of up to 550 samples per charge.

Data recovery is via USB and does not require direct transfer to a laptop.

A “Mini” PM option has smaller footprint.
