July 8, 2014 – Solinst Model 102 Water Level Meters offer an
affordable option for measuring water levels in tight spaces.
The meters use narrow coaxial cable and segmented probes to
measure water levels in tight spaces. The model offers greater flexibility in
angled piezometers and assists in bypassing down-hole restrictions or pumps
when measuring drawdown. There is a choice of two slim diameter probe designs
with segmented weights. The heavier 3/8 in. brass P2 Probe is ideal for deeper
applications.
The cable has a tough polyethylene jacket with laser
markings each 1/100 ft. or millimetre. The braided copper outer conductor
provides flexibility and the stainless steel central conductor reduces stretch
and resists corrosion. Available in lengths to 1,000 ft. (300 m). The Model
102M Mini Water Level Meter comes with 80 ft. (25 m) of cable on a small
portable reel.
