Federal budget renews vow to end drinking-water advisories by March 2021

Ottawa – Federal finance Minister Bill Morneau announced $4.7-billion in spending for Indigenous people in Canada in the new federal budget and promised to end all drinking-water advisories on reserves by March 2021.

The budget, entitled "Investing in the Middle Class," promises $739 million to meet the government's goal.
