Nov. 30, 2017, Santa Barbara, CA – After conducting research in 14 U.S. states, UC Santa Barbara scientists Scott Jasechko and Debra Perrone found that about half of all hydraulically fractured wells stimulated in 2014 existed within two to three kilometres of a domestic ground water well.
