Franklin Electric acquires U.S. ground water distributor

Jan. 4, 2018, Fort Wayne, IN – Franklin Electric Co. has acquired professional ground water distributor Valley Farms Supply of Lansing, Mich., for $9 million.
Valley Farms Supply, which operates three locations in Michigan and one in Indiana, has approximately $28 million of consolidated annual sales, Franklin Electric said in a news release.
“The team at Valley Farms has built the largest ground water distribution entity in Michigan by providing contractors with outstanding service and support,” said DeLancey Davis, president of Headwater Companies, the wholly owned distribution segment of Franklin Electric.
Headwater Companies is a collection of ground water distributors. Franklin Electric serves customers around the world in residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial, municipal and fuelling applications.
