N.B. First Nation completes water projects

Moncton, N.B. – Minister of Indigenous Services Canada Jane Philpott visited Eel Ground First Nation in New Brunswick recently to congratulate the community on progress made on several infrastructure projects.

In addition to the completion of water systems upgrades and ongoing work towards lifting a long-term drinking water advisory, work is underway on a new subdivision and waste diversion centre in Eel Ground, Indigenous Services Canada said in a news release.

According to the release, the federal government has invested a total of $9.22 million in Eel Ground.
