December 7, 2011, Las Vegas – Canadians were well represented in Las
Vegas. The 63rd NGWA Ground Water Expo and Annual meeting ran from Nov.
29 to Dec. 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and there was no
shortage of Canadians on the floor or in the booths.

There were 274 Canadian attendees representing about 140 companies overall, according the NGWA database. On the floor, we found a great group of Canadian companies waving the flag: ATLAS Manufacturing Ltd., GeoRocFor Inc., Structural Composite Technologies Ltd., Watergroup, Solinst, GP Fiberglass Ltd, Boshart Industries, Foremost Industries, Maxidrill, International Pipe, the Canadian Ground Water Association promoting CanWell and Heron Instruments.

Several booths, Canadian and otherwise, commented on the number of Canadians they’d talked to on the show floor. The mood was positive and with a record number of exhibitors at 325, the NGWA can safely call this show a great success. In the 63-year history of the NGWA Ground Water Expo, this was the 14th best attended event, with a total attendance of 4,267 from all sectors of the industry — water well drillers and contractors, manufacturers and suppliers, and scientists and engineers, reported the NGWA in a press release. All 50 United States were represented, along with D.C., Guam, and Puerto Rico, in addition to 34 other nations.

The 2012 NGWA Expo is scheduled to take place Dec. 4 to 7 and will be returning to Las Vegas before it hits Nashville in 2013.
