Turbine pile-driving halted to appease water contamination concerns

Wallaceburg, Ont. – In an effort to appease citizen groups concerned about ground water contamination, the owners of a proposed 12-turbine development north of Wallaceburg, Ont., say they will not use foundations that require pile driving but instead use a new method developed internally.
