Washington, DC – The U.S. National Ground Water Association, Irrigation Association and Water Quality Association will host a summit March 6-7, 2018, in conjunction with the 2018 NGWA Groundwater Fly-In, to jointly raise awareness and promote the importance of water resources to the economy.
The event will feature guest speakers, a legislative briefing and a day of Capitol Hill visits, the National Ground Water Association said in a news release.
Under joint sponsorship, the Water Resources Congressional Summit will magnify the industry’s profile on Capitol Hill regarding the availability, quality, and safety of our nation’s water resources — and the impact each industry has on the economy. The NGWA Groundwater Fly-In will help ensure members of Congress are aware of the important role ground water plays in providing drinking water, supporting agriculture, and fuelling various sectors of the economy.
Visit NGWA.org/FlyIn for more details, which will be posted as they become available. Registration will open in early 2018.
