Niverville, Man. residents on well water reject proposal to connect to new water mains

Cost of connection too pricey, they say, adding their well water is free and fine

Winnipeg – Residents of Niverville have rejected a proposal that would connect them to new water mains, citing the costs involved and suggesting the water currently drawn from private wells is fine. About 80 per cent of about 700 residents impacted by the proposal rejected the plan in a survey. The proposal may be revisited next year. CTV News report | READ MORE
