North Bay, Ont. – The city is paying more attention to polyfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS) in its drinking water after learning Lees Creek is polluted with PFAS. North Bay officials say PFAS levels in the municipal water supply are lower than federal and provincial standards, but evolving PFAS science has prompted the city to step up its studies to enhance its water treatment process.
