Northern Ontario First Nation community drawing closer to 30-year boil-water advisory

Neskantaga First Nation, Ont. – The First Nation community, situated 450 kilometres north of Thunder Bay, is two years shy of going 30 years with a boil-water advisory. It’s the longest boil-water advisory in Canadian history, and the Nation’s chief figures it will reach the 30-year mark despite ongoing work and testing at the local water treatment plant.
