Mount Forest, Ont. – The location of the Ontario Ground Water Association’s central/west regional training meeting has been changed to Mount Forest, Ont.

The meeting, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, will cover the topic of disinfection. “This is the greatest single non-compliance issue; don’t leave yourself open to problems,” the association said in a news release.

Guidance on Reg. 903 also will be provided, including how to comply, proper procedures from start to finish, calculations, testing procedures, troubleshooting, client interaction and remaining in compliance.

The event represents a return to the traditional style of regional training, the association said. Lunch is included.

The following day, Saturday, Oct. 24, the OGWA will host a members’ update and board meeting followed by an excursion through the Hockley Valley Resort & Credit Valley Explorer Scenic Rail Tour.

Registration fees cover all costs: the train tour, lunch, and bus to and from station, Saturday evening accommodation, a banquet dinner, a Sunday breakfast buffet, and all gratuities.

Those interested can register through the OGWA office at 519-245-7194 or ogwa@ogwa.ca, or online at www.ogwa.ca under Events.
