Ont. county concerned with water-taking permit

Woodstock, Ont. – Oxford County council was set to make a formal request Wednesday to Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks to delay a water-taking permit for quarry ponds it believes could negatively impact the water supply available from existing county municipal supply wells, private wells and the natural environment.
