Feb. 24, 2015, Toronto – The Canadian Environmental Law
Association has successfully petitioned the Ministry of
Environment and Climate Change for a review of the Wells
Regulation: Ontario Reg. 903.

Currently the focus of this review is on specific areas of the regulation. As a recognized stakeholder, the Ontario Ground Water Association (OGWA) is included in the process. The Ministry of
Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) has verbally stated that if this review
were to result in opening the regulation, various changes would be considered.
