Ont. MOECC to review wells regulation 903

Feb. 24, 2015, Toronto – The Canadian Environmental Law
Association has successfully petitioned the Ministry of
Environment and Climate Change for a review of the Wells
Regulation: Ontario Reg. 903.

Association has successfully petitioned the Ministry of
Environment and Climate Change for a review of the Wells
Regulation: Ontario Reg. 903.

Currently the focus of this review is on specific areas of the regulation. As a recognized stakeholder, the Ontario Ground Water Association (OGWA) is included in the process. The Ministry of
Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) has verbally stated that if this review
were to result in opening the regulation, various changes would be considered.

The OGWA requests and suggests input from its members. In the members area of the OGWA
webpage are supporting documents as well as a PDF or Excel
version of the questions now at hand for comment. Instructions
accompany the versions. To access the information materials and comment
forms, use your login to the members only page. 

The association is asking members to complete this process by April 10, which will allow
time for the compilation process and for the OGWA to file with the MOECC by
April 30, 2015.
