Ontario and federal governments financially support upgrades to town’s water treatment plant

Lakefield, Ont. – Upgrades to the village’s water treatment plant and water mains will be supported by more than $3 million in provincial and federal funding. The funding is coming from the Canada Infrastructure Program’s (ICIP) Green Infrastructure Stream fund. The project is expected to provide long-term economic development for the municipality.
