Ontario MOL requests feedback on H&S checklist

August 25, 2015  By Ground Water Canada

Toronto – The Ontario Ministry of Labour is asking for feedback through a survey on pilot testing of its new Health and Safety Checklist by Sept. 6, 2015.

The Ministry of Labour developed this resource to assist employers to assess their knowledge of and compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Input will be used to further refine and improve the Health and Safety Checklist. Ontario companies are asked to:

  1. Test the Health and Safety Checklist by reading the questions and responding to them without disclosing the outcome of their assessment to the Ministry of Labour or anyone else. Please download the checklist here: http://www.labour.gov.on.ca/english/hs/pilot2015/checklist.pdf
  2. Complete an evaluation survey of their experience with the Health and Safety Checklist, and submit it to the ministry. The evaluation and feedback is completely anonymous.  Please start the survey here: http://fluidsurveys.com/surveys/dpmuprevention/health-and-safety-checklist-hsc-survey/

For further information regarding the pilot, please see the file Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
