P.E.I. urges well owners to have their drinking water tested for manganese levels

Prince Edward Island – Provincial well owners are being urged to have their drinking water tested regularly, with an emphasis on detecting the presence of manganese. Studies indicate a correlation between high manganese levels in drinking water and neurological effects on children.
