Plan unveiled for Parry Sound, Ont., residents

April 8, 2014, Parry Sound, Ont. – Members of Bracebridge Generation, Parry Sound Power and an
environmental oversight team held a public meeting on April 5 to discuss $15-million in upgrades to the Cascade Street Generating Station that have been
approved to commence in the fall of 2014. The project stands to
dramatically improve power generation for the local area while applying
technological wrinkles that maximize power output with minimal costs to
the environment.
