Prince Albert, Sask. – City council in Prince Albert has declared a local state of emergency as an oil spill from a Husky Oil pipeline threatens its water supply. CIty crews in Prince Albert began rolling out an emergency waterline that will connect the South Saskatchewan River to the city’s water treatment plant as city officials said they’ve been told to expect lingering hydrocarbons and contaminants in the North Saskatchewan River for about two months, reports the CBC News. | READ MORE
