Private well testing program in Iowa underutilized, researchers find

Iowa – University of Iowa researchers have found that a state-funded program for testing private wells suffers from “severe underutilization.” In recent years counties have left unspent as much as 55 per cent of the total funding allocated each year for counties to test residents’ wells for certain kinds of contaminants.
