Proposed manufacturing plant faces opposition from group fearing water well issues

Guelph/Eramosa – A decision is expected to be made Monday on a proposed manufacturing plant for east of Guelph that is being strongly opposed by neighbouring residents who fear the groundwater feeding their wells will be compromised. The opposition group is being supported by Wellington Water Watchers. Proposed is a 164,000-square-foot industrial facility for the manufacturing of refrigerators and freezers.
