Publication says initiatives aimed at addressing world’s water crisis are being ignored or forgotten

The world’s water crisis is getting worse, experts report. About two billion people globally lacked access to safe drinking water in 2020, and about 800,000 people are dying each year from diarrhoea due to the consumption of unsafe drinking water and a lack of proper sanitation.
