Association (AWWDA) is holding its annual convention and trade show at
the Sheraton Hotel in Red Deer, Alta.

March 26, 2013, Red Deer, Alta. – The Alberta Water Well Drilling Association (AWWDA) is holding its annual convention and trade show at the Sheraton Hotel in Red Deer, Alta.

The event will take place from April 10 to 12 with a pub night theme.
The 56th convention will host guest speakers, technical sessions tailored to many different levels of interest, drilling rig and new technology displays, awards presentations, games, entertainment, and of course, beer and wings.

The event kicks off Wednesday evening with a board of directors meeting followed by a complimentary wine and cheese reception as guests arrive.

Thursday offers a morning full of new technology displays and products at the trade show, followed by lunch, and an afternoon of technical sessions and supplier/technical/associate meetings. The trade show opens up again in the evening accompanied by the pub night-themed entertainment. There will be a spousal program offered on Thursday and Friday that has yet to be announced.

On Friday, expect additional technical sessions, guest speakers, one last chance to enjoy the trade show and a draw for an iPad. The night begins with a cocktail hour, followed by the highly anticipated banquet and awards presentation. The convention comes to an end after the banquet, but not without a few hours of more entertainment.
