Remote logging without cell or Wi-Fi

Heron Instruments has launched the dipperLog SMART, an independent, wireless, real-time data transfer system that allows for collating, viewing and recording remote data from water wells on any computer, tablet or smartphone from anywhere.

The turnkey system requires no cell or Wi-Fi coverage and $0 in monthly subscriptions, the company said in a press release.

The system makes use of a co-operative mesh network, which allows for deployment of an unlimited number of sensors for pump control, water detection, water levels, temperature readings and more functions.

The system is scalable to adapt to any project.
