Research at MIT produces clean drinking water from seawater without filters or high-pressure pumps

Cambridge, Mass. – Researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have developed the means to remove salt particles from seawater to produce clean drinking water. A device they have developed – about the size of a suitcase – removes particles and salts without the need for filters or high-pressure pumps.
