Research project pulls fertilizer pollution from groundwater, industrial wastewater

U.S. researchers have developed a high-performance catalyst that can pull fertilizer from low levels of nitrates in polluted groundwater and industrial wastewater. The process can bring water to drinkable levels as set by the World Health Organization.
