Rideau Group companies rebrand as Rideau Supply

Stratford, Ont. – The companies of The Rideau Group Inc. have officially become one under the new name and brand of Rideau Supply to better serve their customers.

Rideau Supply’s integrated companies include Accu Pumps Distributing in Stratford, Ont., Rideau Pipe and Drilling Supplies Ltd. in Barrie and Perth, Ont., and Rideau Pipe and Drilling Supplies Ltd. in Amherst, N.S.

Its head office is at 78 Wright Blvd. in Stratford.

The company began in 1975 as Rideau Pipe and Drilling Supplies Ltd. After a short period, it expanded into the pump business to become one of the largest groundwater pump distributors in Ontario and the Maritimes.

The company also developed expertise in other markets such as water treatment, irrigation, wastewater and hydronics. It acquired Accu Pumps Distributing Inc. in 2007.

“Our vision at the new Rideau Supply is simple, we want to partner with our customers and suppliers in a way that is mutually successful and profitable,” said Earl Nafziger, chief executive officer of the newly created Rideau Supply and founder of Accu Pumps Distributing. “To that end, we have completed several initiatives in 2020. This major rebranding includes name and logo, as well as a re-affirmation that our business has been and will always be more about people than products. Our pros helping our professional dealers and contractors to help them solve their customers’ problems and serve their needs.”

The company also has launched a new website, rideausupply.com, to reflect the changes made within the organization.
