Albuquerque, N.M. – A years-long dispute between the states of Texas and New Mexico over the management of the Rio Grande may be coming to end. Texas has long argued that groundwater pumping in New Mexico has negatively impacted the flow of water crossing the border. New Mexico claims its share of the river has been shorted.
