Shawinigan residents becoming increasingly frustrated by breakdown of new water filtration plant

Shawinigan, Que. – The city’s new $43-million water filtration plant, which came online in January, has been problematic for months, forcing local residents to boil their drinking water. Residents have been complaining to the city, but its mayor says he can’t provide much information because legal action is being considered.
