Sodium levels in Peterborough-area water almost double recommended amounts
Health officials say no health threat posed

Peterborough, Ont. – The Buckhorn Lake Estates has higher-than-recommended levels of sodium in its drinking water system, but local health officials say it doesn’t pose a safety threat. If sodium levels exceed 20 milligrams per litre, it must be reported to the local medical officer of health.
