Some residents advised not to drink well water, even after fuel spill was cleaned up

Fuel tank spilled into Sturgeon Lake in March at Kawartha Lakes

Kawartha Lakes, Ont. – A fuel spill that occurred in late March on Sturgeon Lake has since been cleaned up, but some residents are still be advised to not drink well water. The spill was caused from a fuel tank on private property. A safe drinking water advisory was issued for about 30 households in the area. Global News report | READ MORE
