South Nation, Ont., watershed reports issues with surface and ground water

Finch Township, Ont. – A 2018 report card of the South Nation Conservation Authority in Eastern Ontario finds that while the region’s wetlands are surpassing provincial targets, there are serious surface water quality issues through most of the area and problems with ground water quality in some areas of the watershed.
