State of emergency declared in Calgary in anticipation of heavy rain, possible flooding
Canmore monitoring groundwater levels

Calgary – As the threat of flooding looms, the city has declared a state of emergency. Heavy rains are expected to hit areas along the Bow River. The Town of Canmore is monitoring groundwater levels, anticipating issues in low lying areas if precipitation exceeds 50 millimetres.
