Study finds PFAS pollution in some U.S. public and private drinking water wells
'Forever chemicals' linked to health setbacks

A new study by the U.S. Geological Survey has found pollution from toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” in the country’s aquifer system has contributed to private and public drinking water wells’ contamination. The study helps to predict which drinking water sources could be contaminated. About 43 million Americans get their water from private wells.
