‘Superbuoy’ coming to Saskatchewan water treatment plant to provide cutting edge monitoring

Regina – A $250,000 high-tech monitoring system – dubbed “Superbuoy” – is coming to the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant in Saskatchewan, where it will help to safeguard the drinking water for residents of Regina and Moose Jaw. The partnership arrangement between the treatment plant and the University of Saskatchewan brings “cutting edge” technology, allowing the superbuoy to provide continuity in research such as sensors that accurately measure carbon dioxide and monitors lake surfaces for scum.
