Tetra Tech wins $60M L.A. water resources contract

Pasadena, CA – Los Angeles has awarded Tetra Tech Inc. a $60-million, multiple-award engineering services contract to provide planning and technical support for its Water Resource Core Services Area projects, including flood hazard mitigation, water reuse and supply management, and drinking water well design.


Under the three-year contract, Tetra Tech, a provider of consulting and engineering services, will plan and design the capture, retention and conveyance of storm water, surface water and recycled water, the company said in a news release.

Tetra Tech has committed to developing integrated water management plans, conduct flood and storm surge studies, floodplain mapping, dam and levee studies, ground water investigations and feasibility studies for flood control projects. The company also will prepare plans and specifications for the drilling of drinking water wells and provide technical oversight of well construction.
