Two-month-long ‘do not consume’ notice lifted for Kelowna-area water system

Kelowna – A “do not consume” notice has been lifted for residents tapped into the Killiney Beach water system following two months of inconvenience. The structural fire-suppression efforts related to the White Rock Lake wildfire had compromised the water system, prompting the notice to not consume the water to be initiated on Sept. 2.
