UBC research discovers method for removing up to 99% of PFAS from water reservoirs

Method to be implemented in pilot projects in different B.C. locations

Vancouver – Researchers from the University of British Columbia have developed a means to rid “forever chemicals” or PFAS from drinking water reservoirs. The method reportedly removes up to 99 per cent of PFAS from water and will be implemented in a pilot project beginning this month in various locations throughout British Columbia.
