UNESCO water summit hears about Caribbean countries’ groundwater challenges

Paris – Water experts from UNESCO and other agencies have gathered for the UN Water Summit on Groundwater, and recently heard from Konris Maynard, minister of energy for St. Kitts & Nevis. The minister spoke about the “chronic paucity” of groundwater in his country as well as the entire Caribbean region.
