Moose Jaw, Sask. – City residents have reported an unusual taste and smell to their drinking water, but an official from the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant says it still meets regulatory drinking water requirements. An early-season algae bloom has been cited for the taste and smell disorders. The bloom has occurred earlier than most years, and is a one-in-10-or-15-years occurrence.
