USask research to better understand Canada’s drought and flood patterns during climate change
Droughts, floods costing billions

Saskatoon – Almost $170 million in funding has been provided to the University of Saskatchewan to study and address Canada’s water crisis. The impact of droughts and floods have reached about $40 billion since the turn of the century, the Global Water Futures Observatories’ director reports.
