July 25, 2011, Westerville, OH – The 2011 Ground Water Expo and Annual Meeting is heading to Las Vegas for the second consecutive year, following a record-breaking run in 2010.

The show will run Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
 
National Ground Water Association (NGWA) executive director Kevin B. McCray, CAE, said this year's program will build on last year's success. The 2010 program that produced the most exhibiting companies and organizations in the show's history, exhibitors and attendees from 36 countries, and more than 80 hours of continuing education.
 
“Our industry defied the odds last year by turning out in large numbers for one of our biggest and best events ever. Our goal this year is to do even better with outstanding exhibiting, networking, and educational opportunities,” McCray said.
 
“We have an outstanding group of professionals from all walks of life whose resiliency and drive — even in difficult economic times — brings them to the expo. That’s what makes it a premier event in the ground water industry,” he added.
 
This year's show features educational programs are scheduled all four days. An increased emphasis on business management will be showcased for all major industry professions and businesses, as well as ground water sustainability and availability. Half-day workshops are scheduled for Friday morning and will address geothermal operations, bidding and estimating, and compliance with related American rules and regulations.
