Water claims among Îyârhe Nakoda First Nation members tops 1,000 over long-lasting advisories

Members claim poor water caused eczema

Calgary – Îyârhe (Stoney) Nakoda members want amends made for two lengthy drinking water advisories on the First Nation. More than 1,000 have already signed claims. The advisories lasted from 2001 to 2005 and again from 2006 to 2014. The claims mainly cite issues with eczema, but organ failure and cancer as well. Cochrane Today report | READ MORE
