Water main break in Sherbrooke, Que. results in boil-water advisory for 2,000

Sherbrooke, Que. – A water main break in the city on Sunday has resulted in a preventative boil-water advisory to about 2,000 residents in the area.

The break occurred near the corner of Galt and Belvedere streets in the McManamy Street area.

Those who live or work in that part of the city are advised to boil their water for at least a minute prior to consumption.

The advisory is in effect until Feb. 15 at noon.
