Water monitoring system upgrade in Mt. Brydges, Ont. expected to cost more than $1M

Mt. Brydges, Ont. – Plans to upgrade the area’s water monitoring system will cost $1,025,122, if Strathroy-Caradoc council approves a recommendation for the lowest bid. The cost is more than a quarter of a million dollars higher than the previously approved budget amount due to a need to replace existing structures, necessary safety upgrades and supply chain issues triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
